Your goals this week are to:

• Understand the idea of hypothesis testing.
• Understand the importance research designs and the consideration of validity.
• Understand some of the different types of validity.

In the upcoming week you will take the midterm exam.  The midterm exam will cover chapter 1 through 5 in the Parson and Brown textbook, as well as the course content.  The format of the exam is closed-ended (i.e., you must select the correct answer[s] from a list of answer options).

Correct answers for the final exam will be available in after 5:00pm on the day following the exam period.
